PODIATRIC SERVICES & PROCEDURES

Lending a Helping Hand

Nicholas has been a Podiatrist for over 32 years working in Wollongong and Sydney and has been based in Orange for the last 25 years. He has worked both in the private and public systems as well as being a Podiatry Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor  in the areas of Biomechanics and High Risk Diabetes.

The surgery has the latest equipment in comfortable surroundings. There is always a receptionist on hand during opening hours and we always return messages left on our phone. We are a very family orientated practice and are able to accommodate wheelie walkers and small prams, therefore parents with children are welcome. We have disabled access via a ramp in the front car park  of the building.

Private Health Funds  may cover some aspects of Podiatry treatment. We are HICAPS equipped allowing for immediate & automatic claiming. Enhanced Primary Care Plans or EPCs are also accepted. We are also registered with the Department of Veterans' Affairs so eligible veterans are welcome

MUSCULO-SKELETAL PODIATRY (BIOMECHANICS)

Injury, poor foot posture, foot dysfunction or other structural issues can lead to problems within the foot but can also affect other parts of the body such as the ankles, knees, hips and back. Common problems that can cause or be influenced by these issues include:

  • Heel pain

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Forefoot pain (metatarsalgia)

  • Neuromas

  • Excessively Pronatedf feet.

  • Patella Dysfunction

  • Lower Back Pain

It is important that the origins of your problem are diagnosed. We can then develop the most appropriate treatment plan to get you back on your feet. Treatment may involve exercise programmes, footwear advice  and the provision of functional foot orthoses.
